Came today for supplies for a 3 day hiking trip. Chris was beyond helpful and made the process easy. As beginners we had no idea on exactly what we needed, or didn’t need. Chris spent a ton of time walking us through this and explaining everything we needed to know. We wanted to thank him specifically for all the help he gave us today! I’ve been searching for a new pair of hiking shoes for months without being able to find a single good fit. Evan in the shoe department was very helpful and patient in helping me finally find a pair that works for me! When I discovered the brand of shoe I initially wanted just doesn’t fit my feet right, Evan brought out several other similar brands for me to try until I found the perfect pair. Thank you for your help!
Not a great experience at the bike shop... Paid for a derailer adjustment for the rear in combination with a new wheel/hub. Rear derailer lost tension on my way to work the next morning. They put a presta valve on the new wheel, and didn't bother to tell me until I picked it up... Why mix a presta and a Schrader air valve? Going to have an actual bike shop get the derailer working again and stay with them.
Darrell was awesome as always. I have been going to this store since it opened and he has helped me several times with shoes and boots. Thanks again sir
Originally came in the store to look for a bicycle tire and a bicycle pump… And ended up spending nearly an hour, browsing, talking to staff and looking around. They have everything from kayaks, outdoor, hiking, cycling and running… And everything in between. Such a cool store!
Was in on 11/28/23 to figure out what size I am in Hokas bc my parent wants to get me a pair for the holidays. Leah, was amazing. She brought out three different shoes for me to try and I didn't even have to ask, she was on it from the jump. I was looking at two different styles and she was spot on with her recommendation with the one I ended up picking and sending to my partner. Felt bad I left without buying a pair, but excited to come back and check out the REI garage and used section.
Worked with Nick in the bicycle shop on figuring out what tires would be best... very knowledgeable on tires and what I needed. Great help. All the employees at REI are very helpful.
Scott and Sam were fantastic! Sam helped me find a new pair of running shoes and really took the time to hear what I needed and gave me some great recommendations. I'm very happy with my purchase. Scott showed me around the store and introduced me to the garage sale area for members. He was extremely insightful and gave me some good pointers for future purchases.
